Funeral services were on Sunday, Jan. 20, at Elam Baptist Church in Gray at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Gary Thomas officiated. The burial followed at Big Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwinton at 3:45 p.m. The family greeted friends at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved playing softball and was a self-proclaimed “grill master.”Tim was predeceased by his mother, Claudia Walker Thomas, and his brother, John Thomas.Tim’s memory is carried on by his wife, Angel Frazier Thomas of Gray; his daughter, Morgan Thomas; son, Kyle Thomas; father, John Ray (Tammy) Thomas Jr.; brother, Will (Ashley) Mizell; his mentor, Steve (Andy) Johns-Hamlin; and numerous relatives and friends.Please visit www.hartsmort.com to express condolences.Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel had charge of arrangements...
